Bros Steve S and Ash drove down to Dusseldorf to represent Doric and attend the Installation of Brother Tam. It was a wonderful day and exactly what one would expect from a masonic day out. Niederrhein have recently returned to “Der Logenhaus” in Düsseldorf (They had been meeting elsewhere for a number of years) Der Logenhaus is a wonderful building and well worth a visit. It is also relatively easy to get to and park despite being in the middle of a major German city.
They were approximately 80 plus Brethren sat down for the meeting and 50 plus for the Festive Board. Summer has finally decided to arrive and it was a little bit warm at the FB so it was jackets off. (As the photo below shows) The in-house catering and bar facilities were excellent and the food was delicious.
